Label

For this to work, the specific collar design needs to support label prims. Those can either be cut cylinders, tortured boxes or a six-faced mesh plane! My goodness! Many designers avoid to use labels because these are difficult to rotate and arrange. If you are a hobby creator or just want to add label prims to your favourite collar, feel free to pick up one of our original designs to learn how it is done. The default OpenCollar uses a six-faced plane, Dancer's, Doge and YumYum collars use tortured boxes.

Set Label: Opens a textbox to enter a label. Textboxes have a 300ish character limit and cannot digest pipe characters:  |

Color: Let's you tint the label, depending on font this can give a nice engraved look if matched to the rest of the design.

Font: Offers a selection of fonts. Those with a 1 or 2 have inverted bump mapping for embossed or engraved effects.

☐/☒ Show: Is used to hide or show the label without having to change it to empty characters.

☐/☒ Scroll: Will make the label scroll from the right to the left.

*For scrolling labels, you can of course use label text that far exceeds the amount of label prims. Entering a label via chat commands will allow to use a 1000ish characters! Wendy was able to fit the quint essence of the great dictator's speech.

Label prims need to be named Label~00 up to Label~99 and carry the object description Label~notexture.

To default the label text and/or font, please edit the defaultsettings notecard in the collar contents and use:

LABEL=text~<text>~font~<UUID>

# label

# labeltext <text>

# label on/off

# label scroll on/off
calls the label menu

sets a label on the collar
