Today we release patch version 3.987.
This patch is recommended if you are on versions below 3.980.
We made significant improvements in memory handling for the core RLV script, improvements for processing exceptions, restrictions and main lock as well as safeword behavior. The AO Link script also received an update which will be interesting for users with Akeyo AOs.
Contributors are littlemousy, Romka Swallowtail, Sumi Perl, Marissa Mistwallow and Wendy Starfall. Also worth mentioning are extensive test suits and quality assurance by Virtual Disgrace™.
If you had problems in recent versions with @versionnum=293847 chatter after logins, this old ally addresses the problem and provides a solution, including pictures, on their blog if you scroll down.
Updates are available through all official network vendors (the white ones), on Primbay, Marketplace, the Temple of the Collar and as long as it is still around the Shack of the Collar, as well as the Sandbox. Please do acquire patches and updates from official sources and vendors.
OFF-TOPIC:
Not directly related but important to many of us will be updating their bash shell. Wendy sent a notice to the R&D group three days ago but to remind you all one more time:
If you are operating linux desktop computers or servers, install an update for your bash shell!
Fedora based: yum -y update bash
Debian based: sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install --only-upgrade bash
